i have a 2000 ford focus and my air bag went of on me and i did not hit anything, i was leaving the store when it happened

we were in a wreck about 3 weeks ago we were hit in front my husband the driver air bag fell out never blew up but mine came out with full forced we was at a stop sign i looked back to check on my little girl when turned around the airbag deployed inever felt the other car hit us i was in the passenger side when hit me my eye was opened i have an inprint of the airbag in my eye with nerve damaged that will never heal and a hole in the middle of my retina that just the least of it ther telling me within 6 months im going to haveto have surgery from the airbag and i might not be able to ever see out of it like i did before the accident

My daughter was in an accident today driving a 2010 Ford Focus. While making a left turn her car was broadsided on the passenger side causing the car to roll over and land on its top. The passenger side airbag deployed but the driver side one did not. The vehicle’s emergency response kicked in and it called 911.

Hello! I was involved in a collision yesterday where i was rear ended by a someone doing 35 mph. I was at a complete stop. His collision with me sent my car into the car in front me. It totaled the front end and bent the frame in the back. My air bag never deployed. I think that Ford should be held liable.

I have a 2008 ford focus, i rear ended a car in front of me. they were at a red light and i proceeded to hit them at atleast 35 miles an hour, air bags did not deploy. both cars were towed.

Just had my 2005 Focus ZX3 totaled a week ago. It was hit in the driver side door (I’m very lucky) in excess of 30 MPH. While I’m OK and the focus took a tremendous hit and protected me, I have no clue why the side impact airbag did not deploy. An e-mail to Ford got a response which seemed to want way too much information and seemed to indicate they were more interested in protecting themselves from lawsuit than that they were concerned about the airbag not deploying. Sad, it was such a great little car.

I had a similar problem…. i drive a 2001 ford focus wagon has been a great car untill the other night…..I was pulling in to my driveway at about 12 mph when i hit a small bump coming in, the airbags deployed! , luckily neither me nor my girlfriend were injured, but i dont think that was supposed to happen. Now I have to repair the windshield also because the passenger side airbag busted it out.
